That is great news about Bareburger in Forest Hills! In my opinion, Bareburger has been one of the best additions to the neighborhood in the last couple of years. And I think their expansion shows that there is a lot of demand in Forest Hills for high-quality food that is served in a nice, upscale environment. Hopefully, Bareburger's success and expansion will inspire other upscale restaurants and stores to consider opening a place in Forest Hills.

Open and Shut: Queens EditionVanilla Sky had its grand opening in Forest Hills this past Sunday. This is a self-serve yogurt shop which had only one previous location in Astoria. Vanilla Sky in Forest Hills has a nice modern design, with seating both inside the store and outside. I think this is a great addition to the neighborhood. Although there are already 3 other frozen yogurt shops in Forest Hills, only one of them is self-serve (Red Mango). Self-serve places seem to be more popular compared to the traditional counter service places because people like to mix together different yogurt flavors and to be able to choose as many of their own toppings as they want.
