The one-story warehouse previously located at 44-80 11th Street is gone, and here’s what’s to come! GF55 Partners (also the architects behind nearby condo building The Foundry) designed this eight-story, 105-unit rental development. Construction will start next month and last 15 months. Once finished, building amenities will include a gym, laundry, bike room, parking, and a second floor landscaped courtyard with benches and a trellised area with a BBQ. The second floor apartments facing the courtyard will have private terraces, as well as the sixth floor apartments facing the street on the setback area. I was skeptical that the area surrounding Murray Park would become completely residential, but it appears that we are on our way. I still personally wouldn;t live on 11th St., but this is good location nonetheless.
