Falchi-building-long-island-city

Jamestown Properties, the developers of the Chelsea Market, are bringing artisanal food vendors to Long Island City’s Falchi Building, at 31-00 47th Avenue. The Daily News reports that Artisanal Premium Cheese already signed a lease on the ground-floor for a shop and restaurant. Amy’s Bread, who bakes in a plant based in Long Island City, is also eyeing a kiosk space. Apparently Jamestown is looking for unique start-ups to occupy the relatively inexpensive kiosks and stands, which will be set up inside and outside of the building. According to the CEO of Artisanal Premium Cheese, “We’re going to bring a whole new dimension to the neighborhood.” Think this could be a game-changer for the LIC food scene?
