If you use denatured alcohol, be sure your floors are finished with oil based finish. i fear the alcohol will wreak havoc on a water base poly. For that matter, so will goof off.
Old credit card works remarkable well. Wet swiffers work really well on fresh paint. Use the swiffer w/ out the mop, and alot of elbow grease.
For paint in cracks/grain of wood, try a sharpie that is close to the color of the floor to stain the paint a closer color. It’s amazing what will disappear when you are four feet away (standing).
If they’re small paint drops you might try a plastic scraper. You could make a good one by cutting the rounded tip off a disposable plastic knife. If, OTOH, it’s something like the can of paint we kicked over on our middle parlor floor a couple of years ago, you might have a bigger problem.
