How to Seal Exposed Bricks
I exposed the bricks in my building. They came out very nice, but I have a lot of dust off the walls. Is there something that would seal the brick and reduce some of this dust.

I used a sealant which is low VOC from a small eco manufacturer in Florida. Not only was it very nice and easy to apply, but you can’t see any surface shine at all. It completely removed the dust which my bricks upstairs (unsealed) continued to shed for years to come. You do have to clean thoroughly before application, however.
My contractor sanded them down a bit and scrubbed them to remove most of the loose concrete and dust. The brick is more than 120 yrs old. We haven’t had problems with dust since.
I guess you can try clear sealer for bricks. like Thompson water sealer. you can find it in Home Depot.
plaster
Research Silanes and Siloxanes. They provide a clear breathable surface and will cut down on the dusting quite a bit.
Good Luck
