I bought a lot of native shade plants online from Munchkin Nursery in Southern Indian. They can tell you which native to the Northeast. It’s nice to see plants you would normally see only in the woods in a garden! Also, Rosedale Nursery on the Saw Mill Parkway carriers some native plants. Happy gardening!

I’d ask at the BBG center.
Not sure if such a thing exists. Best bet is to know what your are looking for, and then source it.
