Wall Mount Faucet

I came across a sink not too dissimilar from the one in the image a few weeks ago. I purchased a wall-mounted utility sink faucet to install along with it but when the faucet came it didn’t come with anything to attach the faucet to the sink itself. I guess I misunderstood when I thought I could attach a wall mounted faucet to the sink backsplash. It looks like the faucet can only be mounted on the wall and not the sink itself. You have to improvise to get it to mount to the thin wall of the sink. Usually, fender washers that fit over 1/2″ brass pipe and with electrical conduit locknuts work best.

We bought a wall-mounted faucet and attached it to our sink backsplash just like here. Not understanding the question. You do need a special kind of wrench though that turns the inside of the nuts.
