Looking for Kitchen/Bath Designer

Hi forum, I’m closing on a coop in Sunset Park tomorrow which needs a kitchen and bathroom reno. This is my first purchase and first venture into remodeling so I’m thinking it might be wise to hire a designer. Not a big job – appliances and plumbing staying in same place but new floors, cabinets, countertops, etc.. and in the bath everything except the floor to be redone. I’d even be up for finding a recent grad from Pratt who is looking to bulk up their portfolio. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, I’m getting bids right now but if anyone has contractors they’d recommend I’d love their info. Thanks for your help!

We used TBD Design and were very happy with their work! It is a husband and wife team and they work great together, both bringing different and important elements (customer service to expediting and all in between).
