Replacing Kitchen Countertops

http://cdn.brownstoner.com/4e02274f7fd80-

Hi, we are considering replacing the countertop in our small kitchen. Does anyone have a recomendation for someone who could do this job for us? What is a fair amount to pay for a job like this (a range – I know every job is different). This would be at most about 3ft of counter (standard depth), with a cut for the sink. Any tips/info/recommendations would be great. thanks!

i thought i answered this yesterday, but guess not.  majority of prices at HD/lowes/ikea go from $39.99/sq ft to $75/sq ft.  That’s the installed price, so just multiply the amount of square footage you have and it should be around there.  There are a number of kitchen stores around home depot and lowes as well you can try if you want local service.

SMC Stone in williamsburg did our countertop. We chose the material at their sizable store/warehouse, where they have a vast collection of materials. We dealt with Kelvin, very helpful. Once we chose the material, SMC came to the house, measured, came back a week later, and installed.

No way to tell you the price because it depends on whether you choose marble or granite or an engineered stone like Caesarstone or Formica. Also depends on what edge style you choose. But three feet is going to be very inexpensive, I imagine. $300?
