Owners Restore Stoop at Brooklyn Heights Greek Revival on Henry Street
Work recently resumed after a stop work order earlier in the summer.

A Greek Revival house at 152 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights is getting its stoop restored, a recent visit revealed. The little house is red brick with brownstone details.
When a suffragette lived in the house in the early 20th century, her offices were on the ground floor with apartments above, according to a report at the time in the Brooklyn Eagle.

Many houses in the Heights lost their stoops when they were made over into apartments in the early 20th century. Now owners who can afford it are restoring them — and sometimes turning the houses back into single families as well.
