It needs some facade work and the bathrooms and kitchens have not been recently updated, the agent told us. It is configured as two floor-through apartments over an owner’s duplex, according to the listing, although the floor plan shows a rental over a triplex. What do you think of it and the ask of $1,700,000?

I lived on a ground floor apt on Lafayette and you do feel the G train, but its really not a big deal. The bus stopped across the street and that was noisier.
It goes up Marcy, pretty clear of this house I would have thought. True about buses, but otherwise a great location. Looks gorgeous to me, although it would be nice to see a few more pics.

G train is gone by then, but you still have traffic and buses. Compared to some trains though, the G doesn’t seem to cause much noise/vibration at street level.
and the G train *might* run underneath (not sure if it’s turned up towards myrtle by then)
