A Queens artist in Manhattan - Sin-ying Ho speaking at the Metropolitan Museum

Anne Shisler-Hughes passed on information about Queens-based artist Sin-ying Ho speaking at the Met museum this coming Sunday. She is associate professor in the Department of Art – Studio Art/Art History at Queens College, CUNY in Flushing.

Dear friends, artist, educators and colleagues,

Sunday at the The Metropolitan of Art (MET), March 3, The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. At 3:00pm, I will be on a Panel Discussion Americans and the Porcelain City. If you are in Manhattan, New York or nearby cities, hope you can join us.

The installation Evolution of Chinese and Their Global Influence is on view on the Great Hall Balcony, Galleries 200-205.

The panel will be moderated by Denise Patry Leidy, Curator, Department of Asian Art, MMA, and Jane Adlin, Associate Curator, Department of Modern and Contemporary Art, MMA.

The event is free with Museum admission.
