Honoo Grill & Noodle coming to Ditmars in Astoria

Ditmars Blvd in Astoria has gained another Asian restaurant – Honoo Grill & Noodle.

Apparently they will have a big grill and specialize in grilled meats. The character to the right of the name is Japanese for “flame” – appropriate for a place that works with a grill. Perhaps it will be like Mongolian barbecue or Robata grill, if it is indeed a Japanese spot. Teppanyaki could be another option.

Before this restaurant, a “Long Island bagels” spot occupied the storefront. It is right next door to Tasty’s, a little diner.
