After prices peeked just under $300,000 in 2008, the median sales price slowly decreased with a few boosts in 2012. Over the past year, the number of sales and median sales price looks pretty random, with just nine sales in the third quarter of 2013 at a median price of $292,500.
The three most expensive sales in Sunnyside all come from the Phoenix condo at 41-02 Queens Boulevard. Penthouse 6B, with 1,139 square feet, sold for $769,897. Unit #5H sold for $698,831.98 and Penthouse 6A sold for $605,000. The most expensive property currently on the market is 45-31 40th Street, #6, asking $1,350,000. The cheapest home on the market, #201 at 46-01 39 Avenue, is asking $109,999.
