The Commercial Observer shares more details on the Falchi Building renovation, which will transform the warehouse into a bona fide foodie destination. Jamestown Properties is in charge of the project and plans to design something unique from the Chelsea Market. According to Jamestown, there will be a food hub with other retail outlets on the ground floor. (Artisanal Premium Cheese already signed a lease on the ground-floor for a shop and restaurant, and last we heard Amy’s Bread was eyeing a kiosk space.) The 110,000-square-foot third floor is being marketed for potential tenants, with the possibility of a 50/50 split between two businesses. Jamsetown is also willing to cater the office space to a single tenant, or smaller companies that want less space. Jamestown will continue to market the building’s space as existing tenants move out and areas become vacant.
