The closest trains are the A at Grant Avenue or the J at Crescent Street. It’s a bit of a walk from the train, but that will keep you healthy. The place is open to visitors today from 2 to 4 p.m. And the most important part: the price is listed at $329,000 with taxes estimated to be $1,933.
If you do go to check out this place in Woodhaven, there is another you might like to look at. This home is beautiful on the outside:
but may need some work.
It’s also a four bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house, at 91-23 96 St. sort of near the Woodhaven Boulevard J train station. The open house for this place will be today from 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. the price is listed at $449,000 with an estimated $2,493 in taxes.
FYI the links don’t work.
The interior of that first house is really nice (love the bathtub). Elderts Lane is barely Woodhaven, though. It’s the border between Brooklyn and Queens and depending on which side of the street you’re on, you could be in Cypress Hills. Googling the address for this property shows another listing advertising it as Brooklyn. As a Woodhaven native, I can also say that this part of Woodhaven (or Brooklyn, or whatever you want to call it) isn’t really that nice.
Hi there, thanks for the heads up regarding the links. Maybe someone bought the house right out from under us, who knows…You are right that the neighborhood isn’t perfect, but it didn’t seem dangerous or dirty or anything, just not upscale. We did love the interiors too. Thanks for your comment.
