On and off the market several times in the last few years, the Montrose Morris-designed mansion is now asking less than the current owner paid for it in 2015.

The lavish corner limestone at 17 Prospect Park West across from Prospect Park that was once home to actors Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany is back with a price cut. The Montrose Morris-designed Park Slope mansion has been on and off the market several times since being snapped up by an LLC in 2015 for $12.4 million.
Most recently asking $12.9 million, it’s now listed for $12.25 million — that’s $150,000 less than the current owner, obscured under the whimsical-sounding entity Goodie Yags LLC, paid for it.
“It was a little big,” Connelly once told Conan O’Brien. “Frankly, it was a little like Scooby-Doo, creepy, you know, like the haunted mountain mansion.” After her tenure, the house was extensively renovated by an ex-Google engineer.
The broker and photos have not changed. Listed by Lindsay Barton Barrett, now with Douglas Elliman, it’s priced at $12.25 million.
Think the new ask will get the deal done?
