This week, we look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago, focusing on homes in Bay Ridge, Park Slope, Crown Heights and Carroll Gardens. How did they fare?

Starting us off this week, we have this renovated barrel-fronted limestone row house built around 1900 in the recently designated Bay Ridge Parkway Doctors’ Row Historic District. It has details to spare — maybe too many. The dining room has a dizzying array of bracketed wainscoting, coffered ceiling and built-in shelves. This former House of the Day is currently off the market.

Next, we have a striking yet challenging two-bedroom, two-bath condo in Park Slope. The building was designed by renowned architect Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos in 2009, and the unit is austere yet playful, thanks to the interesting angled windows (not unlike the sawtooth bays of a Neo-Grec brownstone), colorful blinds, artfully composed kitchen and bathrooms, and wood floors throughout. This former Condo of the Day is currently off the market.

After that, we have this 19th century two-story wood frame house in the Weeksville part of Crown Heights that is a remarkable survivor. It’s got a charming bracketed cornice, canopy and historic double door, all painted green. The listing calls it a “rare find,” noting the home is move-in ready and has many original details. This former House of the Day sold in May for $790,000, which was $35,000 below the asking price.

And, wrapping us up this week, a classic Italianate brownstone in Carroll Gardens that has a mix of both original details and updates. Located at 379 Clinton Street, it has a bracketed cornice that frames the front of the home, an ornamental door hood at the entrance with a rounded pediment and bracketed keystone. This former House of the Day sold in February for $3.275 million, which was $75,000 below the asking price.
