This week’s open houses run the gamut — flips, fixer-uppers, homes of indeterminate condition; we’ve got brick, limestone, aluminum siding, detached homes and rowhouses. They’re found in Crown Heights, Bed Stuy, and Sea Gate; visit the last one and you can work in a visit to the beach.

On Prospect Place in the Crown Heights North Historic District is a landmarked four-story Renaissance Revival limestone with a large extension on the bottom floors. Weighing in at more than 6,100 square feet, the house has a five-bedroom triplex on top, and a deep garden floor that’s currently used as a dentist’s office. The triplex is dripping in original details, including parquet floors, mantels with original stone surrounds, pocket doors, crown moldings, and built-ins.

If you’re daunted by the prospect of a fixer-upper, you can run screaming from the next one, which looks like it will need the usual overhaul. On Saint Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, the brick two-family has quite a bit of original detail, but looks like it could use some skim coating, floor refinishing and updates in the kitchen and baths. Right now it’s set up as two three-bedroom apartments. It’s on a deep lot of 130 feet.

Moving over to Bushwick is a three-story brick house that looks to be a flip, renovated up and down. It’s got a rental with two narrow bedrooms on the bottom floor and a three-bedroom triplex above. The triplex has an open plan living space with herringbone floors, painted brick walls and a new kitchen with a marble-topped island and a wide fridge. In the rear there’s a garden with a new fence, decking and storage shed.

Last stop is Sea Gate, the gated community at the western end of Coney Island, where we find a 2.5-story detached house on Sea Gate Avenue. A legal two-family, it’s set up with four apartments: two one-bedrooms on the first floor, a three-bedroom on the second floor with front and rear porches, and another one-bedroom on the smaller top floor. There’s a finished basement as well. Condition is a mystery: The only photos are of the aluminum-clad exterior, and the listing offers no insights.
