Brooklyn Real Estate Six Months Later: Three Sold, One off the Market
Here’s a look at four of our featured listings from six months ago, located in Brooklyn Heights, Bed Stuy and Sunset Park.

Here’s a look at how four of our featured listings from six months ago fared on the market.
First, we have a Bed Stuy brownstone with a fetching angled bookend facade that offers some original details within — but it still needs work. At 139 Madison Street, it’s currently configured as an SRO, with six studio units spread among the upper floors. This former House of the Day is still available for the original asking price.
Then we have a swank duplex pad with killer views and a towering price tag at 360 Furman Street, better known as One Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s a vast one, offering some 5,000 square feet spread over two levels, with some deluxe appointments and prime spaces. This former Condo of the Day is currently off the market.
After that, there’s an 1885 Bed Stuy townhouse that could use some updating but looks to be in fairly good shape with some details and a seemingly reasonable price tag. At 527 Halsey Street in the Bedford Stuyvesant/Expanded Stuyvesant Heights Historic District, it’s a Neo-Grec brick with brownstone appointments and an angled bay with an appealing dogtoothed corner. This former House of the Day sold in April for $1.27 million, which was $20,000 above the asking price.
The last one’s a two-bedroom in Sunset Park, on the third floor of one of the neighborhood’s self-managed Finnish co-op buildings. This one could use some updating, including kitchen and bath upgrading and floor refinishing. The bedrooms — one of which could also serve as a living room — are smallish and on the opposite end of the unit from the sole bathroom. This former Open House Pick sold in April for $500,000, which was $20,000 below the asking price.
