This weekend’s open house picks all have some original details, are in move-in condition and priced over $1 million. With the exception of the most expensive in Carroll Gardens, the rest are located in Bed Stuy and Bushwick.

First up, there’s a three-story brownstone in Carroll Gardens that’s currently configured as an upper duplex over a one-bedroom garden apartment. Located at 85 A 3rd Place (which also goes by the alternate address of 85 ½ 3rd Place), it has a large front garden and number of original details inside, all in excellent condition. There are millwork surrounds, arched and angled doorways, French doors and plaster wall moldings as well. The rental unit has exposed brick and access to the large and landscaped backyard.

Next, there’s a four-story home in Bed Stuy that appears to be a two-family even though it has four kitchens, which could pose some problems for financing and renting. Located at 472 Putnam Avenue, the interior has been stripped of most of its original details but appears to be in excellent condition, although the kitchen and bathrooms are in need of an update.

In Bushwick, there’s a yellow brick row house that’s currently configured as a top-floor rental and a lower duplex, according to the listing (no floor plan is available). There’s coffered ceilings, built-ins, at least one stained glass skylight, tin ceilings, ornate wall moldings and, according to the listing, fireplaces. Located at 1425 Hancock Street, there’s a concrete backyard and a parlor level sunroom that’s not pictured. The basement and pictured bathroom are in need of updating, and the kitchens are not shown.

Staying in Bushwick, there’s a three-family wood frame with some details, including five decorative fireplaces — one a stunning tiled mantel — in addition to plenty of other small original notes. Located at 717 Chauncey Street, the roof was recently redone, according to the listing, and the backyard needs work. The only kitchen that is pictured has an L-shaped counter and a nice amount of cabinet space, although it could use some updating.
