This week, our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Prospect Heights, Carroll Gardens, Greenpoint and Boerum Hill. How did they fare?

To begin, we have a barrel-fronted four-story Renaissance Revival sandstone row house in the Prospect Heights Historic District that has a number of modern updates among its historic notes. Located at 393 Sterling Place, it was built circa 1898 and designed by Axel Hedman. This former House of the Day sold in January for $3.5 million, which was $95,000 below the asking price.

Then we have a spacious duplex condo in Carroll Gardens, spread out over the parlor and garden floors of a four-story row house, with private garden access and a number of original details. Located at 399 Sackett Street, it’s appealing and in a prime location but has characteristics that might not be ideal to some. This former Condo of the Day is currently off the market.

After that, in Greenpoint, there’s a three-story 19th century wood frame currently configured as three one-bedroom floor-through apartments. Located at 951 Lorimer Street, the home is quaint and has plenty of charm but may need some work. This former House of the Day sold in February for $2,047,500, which was $52,500 below the asking price.

Last, in Boerum Hill, we have a brick single-family three-story with a wood-burning fireplace in the dining room. This quaint but stately home has an open plan garden-level with a front living area, back dining area and galley kitchen in between. Original details include pocket doors, full walls of built-in shelves, millwork door and window surrounds and five decorative mantels in addition to the working fireplace. This former Open House Pick sold in March for $2.8 million, which was $195,000 below the asking price.
