This week, our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago centers on homes in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Prospect Heights, Crown Heights and Kensington. How did they fare?

First, an impressive single-family brick townhouse in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens Historic District that seamlessly blends both old and new elements. It’s located at 52 Midwood Street, one of a row of 10 houses designed in 1898 by the architect William M. Miller and within walking distance to Prospect Park. This former House of the Day sold in December for the asking price of $2.75 million.

Then we have this floor-through three-bedroom co-op that’s charming, with three exposures and original details. Located at 560 Dean Street, it’s on the second floor of a prewar walkup in the Prospect Heights Historic District. This former Co-op of the Day is currently off the market.

A looker inside and out, our next home is this Renaissance Revival limestone that has numerous well-preserved details as well as fairly prosaic but serviceable bathrooms and kitchens. It’s located at 1088 Prospect Place in the Crown Heights North III Historic District, and was designed by Axel Hedman and built circa 1900. This former House of the Day sold in September for $1.725 million, which was $70,000 below the asking price.

Rounding us out, we a renovated three-story wood frame in Kensington that’s a bit of a period mullet: historic in the front, modern in the back. There’s a front garden and front porch that add to its curb appeal, and a decorative mantel in the parlor. The sizable galley kitchen is sandwiched between a dining room and a family room. One bedroom has bay windows, and the arched attic space can easily fit a king size bed. The back deck is spacious, and the yard has been covered in synthetic turf. This former Open House Pick sold in October for the asking price of $1.549 million.
