This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Sunset Park, Windsor Terrace, Bed Stuy and Brooklyn Heights. How did they fare?

First up, a Sunset Park one-bedroom that is on the petite side but does have some nice design features to go along with a modest monthly maintenance and views to the neighborhood’s eponymous park. The compact layout has a hallway at the center with kitchen and bath on one side and living room and bedroom on the other. A former Co-op of the Day, it sold in August for $465,000, which was $20,000 over the asking price

With a location just across the street from Prospect Park, this one-bedroom co-op offers the allure of easy strolls through Brooklyn’s backyard along with prewar details and a renovated kitchen. In the unit, a small foyer with a closet opens to the kitchen and living room with the bedroom located at the other end of the apartment. The living room has wood floors, picture rails and two windows. This former Co-op of the Day sold in September for $590,000, which was $5,000 less than the asking price.

Originally built as a two-family home, this 1890s Bed Stuy brownstone has some period details, a working fireplace and a grape arbor for those who want to expand their horticultural expertise. The relatively open-plan living, dining and kitchen are on the garden level, and three bedrooms are above. The house has a top-floor rental with an owner’s duplex below. This former House of the Day sold in September for the asking price of $1.85 million.

The gray-shingled standalone at 13 Pineapple hosted the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse in 2019 and some of the bold finishes were left in place, adding another layer to the long history of the single-family home. In the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, the large Federal-style house has its share of folklore attached to it — some of it provided by Truman Capote. This former House of the Day entered contract in August.
