The most popular listings on Brownstoner this week include a Greek Revival in Brooklyn Heights, a wood frame house in Bed Stuy and 20th century townhouse in Windsor Terrace.

Bed Stuy and Park Slope were popular this week, with multiple listings in the top 10. The least expensive is a brick townhouse in Windsor Terrace for $1.375 million and the priciest is a condo in a Park Slope mansion at $4.2 million.

Which would you choose?

10. This 20-foot wide Park Slope brownstone with a brick facade was designed by architect John E. Dwyer in 1891. The Romanesque Revival townhouse is currently configured as a triplex over a garden rental, and a handsome renovation of the home restored its remaining original details, including double doors, shutters, crown molding, stained glass transoms and skylights.

9. In Windsor Terrace, we have an early 20th century single-family brick townhouse that needs some updating. But the price reflects the fact. Despite the necessary aesthetic changes, the original details in this three-story appear to be in solid condition, including inlaid parquet wood floors, wainscoting and two skylights. There’s also a finished basement with a full bath.

8. This Bed Stuy brownstone offers numerous points of distinction. At 5 Arlington Place, it dates to circa 1887, built in the Renaissance Revival style by the prominent 19th century architect George P. Chappell. It’s next door to the “Crooklyn” house at 7 Arlington, made famous as the family domicile in Spike Lee’s movie (and now a gorgeous bed and breakfast).

7. This stunning three-bedroom condo sits in one of the Slope’s most distinctive properties — the Tracy Mansion, a neo-Classical marble palazzo built in 1912 for a tugboat mogul at 105 8th Avenue. Designed by Frank J. Helme, who was behind many a distinguished Brooklyn structure, including the Hotel Bossert and the Prospect Park Boathouse, it’s got quite the grand facade.

6. This brick townhouse with a bay front on 12th Street in Park Slope has been shorn of much of its detail and is a little unexciting. On the plus side it’s completely renovated and looks to be in top shape. It’s a three-story with a separate unit on each floor and a “well-kept” basement, according to the listing. There’s a lot the photos don’t show; any baths or kitchens, for example.

5. On Carroll Gardens’ quirky cul de sac, Dennett Place, this compact charmer at No. 9 is as quaint as its one-block street. The house, which along with the rest of the workmen’s brick row most likely dates from the mid-19th century, boasts one of the strip’s identifying hobbit doors. Houses on the street show up on maps dating to the 1850s.

4. In Park Slope is a narrow Neo-Grec brownstone with two units over three stories. There are glass-paneled wood doors in the entry, pocket doors, five decorative mantels, wooden shutters and built-ins. It’s set up as a rental apartment over an owner’s duplex. The home is just over a block from the F and G trains at the 7th Avenue station.

It’s set up as two floor-through apartments over an owner’s duplex. Both the rentals have two bedrooms each, although some are on the small side. The lower duplex has backyard access, and the single pictured kitchen looks to be in serviceable shape.
