This week, we’re bringing you back to when it was warm outside (and still light out when you left work) to take a quick look at four of our featured listings from the beginning of June and see how they fared.
First, a brand new Red Hook townhouse with a striking modern exterior, designed by the NYC-based firm SHoP Architects, whose resume includes a modest little thing called the Barclays Center and a bunch of other major projects, including the towering building going up at 9 Dekalb Avenue. This former House of the Day is still available at $2.65 million, which is $500,000 under the original asking price.
Following that, an offbeat property, with four units spread over two separate houses: a brick-fronted Italianate at 50 Prospect Park Southwest in Windsor Terrace and a second house set at the rear of the property, with an enclosed courtyard in between. This former House of the Day is available for $2.95 million, which is $45,000 below the original asking price.
Next up, a two-bedroom condo in the Columbia Street Waterfront District at 76 President Street. It doesn’t offer a lot of bells and whistles, but it’s in nice shape and has a large south-facing garden that a buyer with a green thumb could do a lot with. This former Condo of the Day sold in September for $834,000, which is $61,000 under the original asking price.
And, finally, a one-family brownstone with bay windows in Park Slope with original details including wood floors, tin ceilings, molding and five marble mantels. This former Open House Pick sold in August for $3.15 million, which is $205,000 over the initial asking price.
