This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Marine Park, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Bed Stuy, and Midwood Park. How did they fare?
In Marine Park, this early 20th century semi-detached house has a garage. The single-family residence has parquet floors, arched openings, and vintage cabinets. This former Open House Pick is still available.
This classic Prospect Lefferts Gardens angled-bay limestone appears to be in move-in condition, with a plethora of original details and recently updated bathrooms. Outside the historic district, the three-family is a prime candidate to legally transform into a duplex over a rental apartment without triggering a tax increase. This former House of the Day sold in June for $1.92 million, which was $245,000 over the asking price.
One of a stretch of intriguing English Arts and Crafts style houses by Brooklyn architect William B. Tubby, this 1890s Bed Stuy row house has a renovated interior with a garden rental and a triplex above. This former House of the Day is still available for $2.3 million, a price cut of $50,000.
This circa 1903 Queen Anne standalone is in the Fiske Terrace-Midwood Park Historic District. Period details include a pier mirror, mantels, and stained glass. This former Open House Pick was taken off the market in June.
