Brooklyn Real Estate Listings Six Months Later: Two Sold, Two in Contract

This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Bay Ridge, Sunset Park, Marine Park, and Fort Greene. How did they fare?

A modest and relatively affordable Bay Ridge one-bedroom appears to be in move-in condition, with original hardwood floors and light on two exposures. It’s on the fourth level of 302 96th Street, a six-story, 122-unit brick apartment building. This former Co-op of the Day sold in February for $320,000, which was $9,000 under the asking price.

In the Sunset Park North Historic District, a Finnish co-op with a rare five rooms has a flexible floor plan, original wood floors, and columns flanking a wide doorway. It’s on the first floor of 570 44th Street, a four-story, 16-unit building overlooking the neighborhood’s eponymous park. This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in December.

In Marine Park, this early 20th century detached single-family has a driveway and a garage. Inside are three bedrooms and one full bath along with some Arts & Crafts era woodwork and stained glass. This former Open House Pick entered contract in February.

This 1870s brownstone sits in the Fort Greene Historic District. The two-family is set up as a triplex above a duplex. Listing photos show marble mantels and pocket doors. This former Open House Pick sold in February for $5.265 million, which was $615,000 over the asking price.
