This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Sunset Park, Cypress Hills, Windsor Terrace and Crown Heights. How did they fare?

First, this Sunset Park two-bedroom has a number of appealing and hard-to-find features, including a top-floor perch, original details, a dining room and a private terrace. It’s located on the fourth floor of 702 45th Street, part of a 40-unit complex constructed circa 1924. The five-room apartment appears spacious and airy, with large windows on three exposures and French doors. This former Co-op of the Day sold in December for the asking price of $599,000.

In Cypress Hills, this early 20th century single-family has an appealing brick facade as well as original interior features and recent updates. Original details on the interior include wood floors, picture rails and a pier mirror in the parlor while the dining room beyond still has a plate shelf and, in place of the expected wainscoting, a leather-like wall covering with a raised design that is typical of the period. Upstairs are four bedrooms and a bathroom; a second bathroom is located in the English basement. This former House of the Day entered contract in November.

It is hard to beat the charm of Windsor Terrace’s Temple Court, with its diminutive wood frame houses lining the block-long street. The interior of this one isn’t overflowing with lush details, but the right design choices could make the difference, and in the meantime it appears neat as a pin. The 14-foot-wide single-family house fits a living, kitchen, dining room and half bath on the first floor with three bedrooms and a full bath above. The former House of the Day sold in October for $1.595 million, which was $300,000 over the asking price.

Finally, in Crown Heights, this circa 1915 row house was advertised as an “easy housekeeping house” by developer O.B. Lafreniere, with all the amenities a modern house buyer would want. The virtual tour and the photos show the estate condition house could definitely use some TLC, but many of those original details are intact, including carved stone on the exterior and, on the inside, fretwork, moldings, wainscoting and a pier mirror. The three-story two-family is set up as a single-family house with six bedrooms, and the floor plan shows intact pass-throughs. This former Open House Pick entered contract in October.
