It is in the four-story Finnish co-op at 4113 7th Avenue, located across from the neighborhood’s eponymous park. The 16-unit brick building was constructed circa 1920 by the Baltic Homes Association (aka Baltic Homes.)

The efficient unit includes a small foyer with a closet and the flexible layout found in the area’s early Finnish co-ops. There is a second bedroom that could work as a living room or dining room. Typically that room would be accessible via French doors, but here a renovation substituted barn doors. Original wood floors with an inlaid border flow through the hall and three main rooms.

Other rustic touches are found in the kitchen, which has open wood cabinetry, an apron front sink and a wood countertop that extends through a new passthrough into the dining room. A dishwasher is hidden behind a wood panel.

Located off the foyer, the renovated bathroom has a wood vanity and medicine cabinet with white subway tile on the walls, a dark hex tile floor and a soaking tub.

The listing notes that pets are allowed, but doesn’t mention laundry in the building. Maintenance for the unit is $672 a month.
