The townhouse at 467 14th Street hit the market in November for $3.35 million. Streeteasy shows it entered contract last week. So did this South Slope home surpass the $3 million mark? It’s a Queen Ann brick home with stained glass, a mahogany staircase, working fireplaces and original wood mantles — check out the impressive interior here. It’s also right off the park. Considering this wood frame on 13th Street just sold over $2 million, it wouldn’t be shocking if this baby got close to ask. GMAP

  1. Got to see the back of that one from across the way — pure tackiness. Seems like this renovation was done as a flip, saddling the neighbors with an ugly extension that I can’t imagine, as built, to have been approved by Landmarks. The heavy top patio is clearly there to meet zoning requirements —no side yard of any real size is allowed in this kind of extension, but the patio makes it “full lot width,” I guess. Hence the “oculus,” to let some more light into the master. Ugh. What an ugly obnoxious thing to live next too.
