the work they did is significant for sure – electrical, roof, high velocity A/C, at least one good bathroom, also looks like skim coating and floor refinishing. but – a much of this house is staging, and this is a classic example of not doing the kitchen coming back to bite them in the a$$. The patchwork of flooring drives me bonkers, some of the bedrooms have seriously undersized crown molding (nitpick).
The house itself doesn’t seem all that special, but the good staging minus the craptastic kitchen i would guess translates into around a 10% off. But who can say int his crazy market.
You’re kidding about the kitchen right? I’d rather imagine renovating it than imagine cooking in it.
Sure there ARE houses just like this in many places throughout the U.S. But this one is in Brooklyn near transportation, near a decent public school which is getting better and the list of amenities in the area is growing everyday. I’d take this over a Brownstone for the same money.
