It was built circa 1903 and designed by architect John Bay Slee, according to the listing. The kitchen has been tastefully updated with Craftsman-style cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There is also zoned central air and other new mechanicals. What do you think of it and the ask of $2,395,000?

House around the corner on Marlborough Road just went into contract for 2388.. it needs lots of work and the location is not as desirable as this home…
As the broker involved in one of the other two sales I can say this is overpriced. This place needs work— let’s hope for just over $2mil or under $2 mil.— this asking price is a total stretch.. The neighborhood is not quite yet at the mid $ 2 mil level yet and most buyers lack the big cash down payments which are typical in other Downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods.
