Church at 490 Pacific Street Changes Hands

The church at 490 Pacific Street, at 3rd Avenue (formerly Bethlehem Lutheran Church, though it’s been empty for awhile) sold to a new congregation which plans to restore the building. The buyer in question is The Temple of Restoration, headquartered currently at 515 Dean Street. A rep at the church says they are expanding, not moving. She also tells us there is a lot of interior and exterior restoration to be done. Here’s a listing for the property, [PDF], which comes with an attached townhouse on Pacific Street and two vacant lots along 3rd Avenue. The church does not plan to develop on the vacant lots.
