There’s a warehouse next to the Degraw house for now. I don’t think they could develop it into big condos because I think it’s zoned for a max of 4 stories. I think the inside of that place looks really nice. I’m curious as to what the rental looks like.
How about the 509 Chauncey post? $315,000 for an 800sf two bedroom with only 3.5 percent down and you get to live two blocks from ME.
I saw the Warren Place house last weekend, and I must say it’s a fantastic renovation. It’s as open as such a tiny house can be, and every inch of space is used brilliantly. Still, more than a million bucks for what Maly rightfully said is equivalent, in space, to a 1 BR + den floorthrough seems fairly insane to me. Such a cute little area, though, and probably great for folks that want to know their neighbors, since the backyards are all connected. And you feel like you’re in a quaint English village when you walk through the charming front courtyard.
Degraw looks very nice but what is the status of the next door lot. Could this become a huge new condo building?
A-ha! Knew I saw Warren St here before.

Was $1,295,000 in May.
That Warren St. place has been for sale for a long time. It’s very small but yes it is absolutely adorable. Isn’t that one of the houses with the connected backyards that were built for canal workers? Love the Queen Anne brickwork.
IDK – that Warren Street house is ADORABLE – I could see someone falling in love and paying very close to ask
Ha! so there’s the catch, it’s zoned for PS 32.
Degraw would be fairly priced (well, relatively speaking) if it was in PS 29 or 58 zones and a little further away from the Gowanus Houses
