South Slope’s newest condo development has hit the market at 455 12th Street between 7th and 8th avenues, offering one- and two-bedrooms from $700,000. Halstead Property Development Marketing lists only three of the building’s six units so far, but the price per square foot is predictably high. There’s a 686-square-foot one-bedroom asking $725,000, a 1,070-square-foot one-bedroom, 1.5-bath duplex for $975,000, and a 1,015-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bath duplex asking $1,200,000.
The developer, Highstone, converted the early 20th-century three-story multifamily building. Apartments feature open shelving in the kitchens, stainless steel appliances, central heating and cooling, washer/dryer hookups and black and white ceramic tiles in the baths. Each unit has private outdoor space and a storage unit.
