Distinctive Williamsburg Tower Combines Unique Options for Work, Living and Leisure
A one-of-a-kind mixed-use building in Two Trees’ Domino Park, Ten Grand Street and One South First offers waterfront offices, apartments, retail and green space.
Picture this: You ride your bike to work in the morning, park it downstairs in your office building, work out in the building’s gym, hit the shower and then head to the sun-lit lounge to pitch a potential client. Afterwards you grab a coffee and head up to your office with panoramic views of the East River and Brooklyn.
You work at Ten Grand Street, the Williamsburg commercial building completed in 2020 and designed by architecture firm COOKFOX that features 18 floors of sun-drenched office space. A few of your colleagues also live on the premises — at One South First, the residential tower in the same building, overlooking Domino Park and the East River.
It’s not often that one building embodies lifestyle and work at such a large scale, and that’s why Ten Grand Street attracts diverse and interesting companies.
“We couldn’t be more excited to move to Domino in Williamsburg and have access to premier amenities and Domino Park just steps from the building,” said Arnaud Plas, cofounder and CEO of Prose, a custom beauty brand, and Ten Grand Street’s first commercial tenant.
In addition to the fitness center and bike rooms, Ten Grand Street tenants enjoy a sky-lit meeting atrium with cafe seating, a spacious work lounge with library tables, casual indoor and outdoor seating, rentable rooftop terraces and a 48-seat screening theater.
And then there are the amenities for the residents of One South First, the residential part of the building, the perks that make you think “what if?” — an outdoor pool, grilling and dining areas, private lounge and billiards room and rentable rooftop cabanas with the aforementioned postcard views of Manhattan and beyond.
The building sits on the north end of Domino Park on the East River. Built by Two Trees and designed by Field Operations, Domino Park offers an inviting respite from work with its elevated walkway, picnic area, dog run, playground, beach volleyball and bocce courts, and Danny Meyer’s Tacocina taqueria.
After a bite or a beer at one of the building’s retail eateries —Other Half Brewery, Goodfellows Ice Cream, Two Hands Coffee or Roberta’s Pizza — you retrieve your bike from the storage room and start off for home.
Your colleagues who live at One South First return to their apartments and get ready to go out and enjoy Williamsburg’s vibrant restaurants and nightlife.
As you pedal, you think it’s about time you took advantage of a one-of-a-kind mixed-use building. A new way of thinking about work, play and home.
