With Two Trees, Everyone’s Offices Can Be as Inspiring as MindBodyGreen’s Dumbo Digs
Media and lifestyle startup MindBodyGreen found an inspiring workspace in Dumbo from landlord Two Trees, which offers flexible space and terms geared to creative companies.
An inspiring company needs an inspiring office. For holistic wellness media company MindBodyGreen, a run-of-the-mill office would not do.
They found a promising loft space with soaring ceilings and Manhattan Bridge views from Two Trees, which offers a variety of spaces in Dumbo, flexible leasing terms, and competitive pricing to accommodate creative companies like MindBodyGreen.
The office at 45 Main Street, steps from Brooklyn Bridge Park, reflects the company’s vision and mission.
“We could never have an office with eight-foot ceilings, carpet, cubicles,” CEO and founder Jason Wachob explains. A former trader, Wachob founded the company in 2009 after he came around to the idea of living a more holistic lifestyle following a back injury.

MindBodyGreen has leased from Two Trees throughout its growth from startup to funded tech company to maturing media brand. They started with 2,300 square feet, moved up to nearly 10,000 square feet, and are now looking within Two Trees’ Dumbo properties to expand into a third office.
“I believe strongly in creating a workplace that’s a reflection of your ethos. This was a labor of love,” says Wachob.
Teams collaborate at tables of reclaimed wood, lounge on cushioned bleachers or take yoga class in the open space. Art, inspiring sayings, burst of color, and green plants adorn the sunny office.
The kitchen has an endless supply of juice, coconut water, kombucha and gluten-free snacks. A 20-seat steel bar built by local artisan Adam Lesser fosters impromptu company gatherings and community.
Two Trees’ portfolio of historic industrial buildings in Dumbo and flexible terms are designed with evolving companies in mind, allowing them to grow and shape their own office culture through their workspace.
Wachob and Feng Shui expert and MBG contributor Dana Claudat designed MindBodyGreen’s space together.
Two Trees helps creative tenants like MindBodyGreen through a variety of flexible leasing terms (as short as one year), competitive pricing (half the cost of some Manhattan office spaces), optional tenant improvements, and tax incentives under New York City’s REAP and CEP programs.
Another important feature of Two Trees’ properties are its large open floor plans, and the flexibility to allow companies expand or move between spaces without penalty.
For a limited time, Two Trees is also offering special introductory pricing.
Even for small businesses and startups in need of fewer than 1,500 square feet, Two Trees has options with many advantages over co-working. The ease of setup and flexibility are the same, but for growing companies, the overall costs can be lower and the spaces more professional and private.
At 45 Main Street, currently available office suites in the 12-story building range from 900 square feet to more than 15,000 square feet. The building has views of the Manhattan skyline, East River, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.
By this summer, tenants in all of Two Trees’ Dumbo office buildings will have access to a 10,000-square-foot roof deck on the top of each building, all designed by James Corner Field Operations, one of the landscape architect firms that worked on the High Line.
Other Dumbo properties include 55 Washington and 20 Jay Street. Two Trees is known for its singular role in transforming Dumbo from a neglected industrial waterfront into a bustling multi-use tech and creative community.
