Development Watch: 144 N. 8th Shows Some Glass

Work is dragging on at Williamsburg’s most infamous boom-time development, The Finger, a.k.a. 144 N. 8th Street, a.k.a. the Albero. The shots above (click to enlarge) show the 7th Street side of the building, where a glassy ground floor can now be seen behind the construction fence. When asked yesterday when the building would be finished, a contractor at the site had this to say: “Who knows.”
