Sounds good to me. It is such a drab corner, that will cheer it up. It actually has a lot of pedestrian and bike traffic.
The ugliest thing about the building is their garage entrance.
Is a long stretch so I think could fit that many tables….
but what are they going to serve? And from where?
Would be long walk for any server.
Most sidewalk seating to me is noisy and noxious. as are the people that sit at them…especially bar tabac.
I don’t see how you can fit 25 tables in front of the Nu Hotel.
great idea
I like the idea of the sidewalk cafe, cant see how that can hurt, and it probably will make the block, and consequently the general area, more people friendly!
I can’t imagine why anyone would pay $300/night. They’re always empty. I’ve had out-of-towners stay there–if you go there and talk to the manager they’ll give you rates under $200/night.
It’s a great hotel. Sometimes I want to move there.
It’s a nice idea, although 25 tables seems like a lot to squeeze onto the stretch of sidewalk.
this would be a good addition to the street
