Addition to Clinton Hill's Associated Rising Quickly

This was the scene yesterday at the Clinton Hill Associated on Waverly Avenue. It looks like the two-story residential addition to the supermarket, which has been in the works since 2008, is finally happening. DOB issued permits in September of last year for the addition. We nabbed this rendering from LPC in 2010, but at the time we were unsure if Landmarks approved this exact design. Work’s moving quickly: It began Thursday morning and looked like what you see above by the afternoon.
