A four-story brownstone at 206 Park Place has sold for a record high of $4,300,000, according to a broker at Donawald Realty, which handled the transaction. The Park Place house features a two-level deck, a garden, and an extra large lot size of 24.5 feet by 162 feet. (There isn’t an old listing available to see actual pictures.) The seller purchased the property 37 years ago; it sold to an undisclosed buyer. Although the sale closed on June 20, it has not yet hit public records. We previously said the highest sale in the neighborhood was 105 St. Marks Place, which closed for $3,100,000 in June, but we were wrong. The previous record, so far as we know, was set by 166 Prospect Place, a four-story two-family brownstone that sold in May for $3,300,000. Thanks to a Brownstoner commenter for pointing it out. The Real Deal was the first to publish the transaction at 206 Park Place.
