When we last checked in with Urban Green, the 44-unit eco-friendly development at 142 North 6th Street in Williamsburg had just received its building permits after months of delays. Miraculously, this had not hurt sales: There were ten units still available in March and two six now. We have an email in to the marketing team to find out what the current target date is for move-ins. According to the marketing team at Elliman, the expected move-in date is this winter.

  1. There is nothing “Green” about this project. There is simply a garden between the 2 buildings. The name is as misleading as the listing agent that was marketing this project with occupancy by 6/2008. They will be lucky to have this done by the spring of 2009.

  2. Is there anything “eco-friendly” about this project? I thought that they were just using “green” in the name (or using to refer to a “village green” between the two buildings). Elliman’s site doesn’t make any representation that they are “eco-“anything – no LEED or anything like that.
