I’m a Pratt student and I am certainly no in favor of the Union. Those guys have been outside the front gate (across the street from the dorm on Willoughby) since December, at 8 am in the morning, blowing whistles and yelling, excuse me, protesting. They also harass students on their way to class. If they want us on their side, they are going about it the wrong way.
“Prejudices” is one of those words that I have misspelled all my life. I mispronounce it and then spell it they way I say it.
The rat was on Myrtle, between the post office and the Pratt Store, for a while, and I also saw it on Willoughby. Solidarity forever!
Simple solution…pay the union wages and raise the tuition on the students. Very simple.
Someone told me Pratt students are agitating to the college president about hiring non-union labor. That kind of surprised me, which only reveals my predjudices about Pratt students. (I’m sorry kids.)
Well, now that the big projects are coming to an end, the unions are interested in Brooklyn again.
