Now that the netting is partially down on the 12-story, 80-unit development on 4th Avenue near the expressway, one gets a pretty good sense of what this Radusky-designed (condo? rental?) is going to look like when all’s said and done.

  1. This is the ugliest. What is with the stripes?? The windows look like cheap metal, totally ugly.

So far everything new on 4th is horiffice, and the inside layouts are all the same old crap. Liv Din and kitchen all scrunched up into 1 room. No bathroom window, ever…..wasnt that a law back in the day that every room must have a window?????

  2. It may not be pretty, but I find it less offensive than 500 4th Ave. The shiny, beige siding on that thing makes it look like polished cardboard (if you could do such a thing). I wonder what all these horrible buildings (and their tenants) will look like in 25 years.

  3. This is horrible architecture. Beyond grotesque. In fact we think the NOVO is better which isn’t saying much. What a shame and smear on Brooklyn !

  4. Ya know, those bands ain’t the greatest. But if you don’t like them check out the Novo and the Crest! I’ll give them something for trying…
