Construction is now visible over the fence at the formerly dormant development site on 4th Avenue between 7th and 8th streets. DOB records say it’ll be 11 stories and have 17 units; when the site was being marketed with building plans in place, the rendering of the final product looked like this.

  1. > I don’t see the rendering when I click on the link.

    There’s a rendering on the For Sale sign posted on the construction fence. That’s the only one I see at least.

  2. Living right on a busy street is not bad in a modern building with good windows and A/C.

    I live right on Atlantic, and I don’t have any real issues with the street noise.

  3. When I was 5 years old we lived on the corner of 4th ave 6oth street. 4th ave is NOISEY, you can barely hear the TV, unless of course you do not open the windows.
    Nothing desireable about living on 4th…..

    I hate when there is a giant building inserted in between 4 story buildings, it just looks shitty.

  4. Scott;

    This development is not too far from my place and from what I see, family-size units are very popular.

    I’m glad to see that 4th Ave continues to develop. While it still has a ways to go, it has come along way. There are now about 10 completed developments on 4th Ave, and they are all at, or well on their way towards, full occupancy. A good sign for Brooklyn.
