After we broke the news yesterday of Whole Foods’ decision to go ahead with plans to build on a contaminated lot in Gowanus, Crain’s followed up half an hour later with a story of its own. Daily News, Post, HuffPo, Eagle, BrooklynPapers, Gothamist all had stories, but not a single hat-top to Mr. B ?!? Outrageous!
I don’t really care about Whole Foods but I can’t see why anyone hates it either. I wonder what’s going to happen with that land-marked building on the corner of third though.
I wish Whole Foods in NY had those self serve bulk bins found in other states. Talk about cheap grains and beans!!!!

I’ll probably never set foot inside of it, but I think it is a huge improvement over what was there before.
AM New York gave credit to Curbed. Great reporting on the reporting AM.
i can’t imagine crains stole the idea from you–i’m sure they got the same information and it took them half and hour longer to get it up!
