10. On 19th Street in Greenwood Heights, we have a townhouse that’s been given a top-to-bottom modern makeover — look for the one with the bright yellow door. Whether it was rehabbed by a previous occupant or a flipper we’re not sure, but it looks brand new, with white-oak flooring, steel-railed open stairs, a gas burning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass at the rear.

9. On Putnam Avenue in Bushwick, we’ve got a three-story flip that’s been completely overhauled, from its brick facade to its wood-fenced rear garden. A bit of care seems to have gone into this one, which has some details like recessed ceilings and inlaid floors. It’s set up as a two-family, with a two-bedroom rental on the garden level (duplexed with a finished cellar) and a three-bedroom owner’s duplex above.

8. Here’s a Romanesque Revival brick townhouse on a 26-foot lot with a garage and a driveway — a common enough commodity in the borough’s outer reaches but a rare find in Park Slope a stone’s throw from Prospect Park. Located at 441 14th Street in the Park Slope Historic District, the house seems to need considerable work, though the listing is short on details.

7. Here’s a Bed Stuy brownstone that’s loaded with period detail — most notably mantels. At 629 Putnam Avenue in Stuy Heights, the house has got seven of them, including some pretty ornate Queen Anne-type numbers with mirrors, carved wood and Minton-style tiles. The late Victorian house also sports wedding-cake plaster detailing, inlaid parquet floors, ceiling medallions, crown moldings and wainscoting.

6. Here’s a condo that veers off the beaten path. If you’re bored with exposed brick and ceiling beams and cookie-cutter finishes, take a gander at this South Slope duplex, whose interior design looks to have been inspired by Gaudí, or maybe Lewis Carroll. It’s at 372 15th Street in the Park Pavilion condos, one of three buildings with a combined 30 units, constructed in 2003.

2. The next home is a wood-frame Italianate on Fenimore Street. An interesting facade on this one, with upper and lower wood-railed porches, and four huge columns supporting the former. It looks a bit haggard from the outside but it’s recently renovated within, with new oak floors, exposed brick, and recessed lighting on the parlor floor. It’s small — two stories with three bedrooms and a single bath on the second floor, and an English basement.
