My sister, who is very petite (maybe 105 pounds soaking wet) always battles her kids and other half, who is 6’4″ and 250 pounds to keep down the A/C.
So in her house, the A/C war is 3 to 1 against her, so she’s always wearing an extra layer in the summer. She said she’s the only person she knows of who is actually looking forward to menopause and getting hot flashes!
Being the good Northerner I am, I like the house cool and usually have the A/C on. For the limited amount of summer she spends at home, Mrs. C ends up freezing and needing a blanket. Do all women feel the cold more than men? Is it due to the fact I’m 180 pounds and she’s around 115?
Does anybody else engage in air conditioning wars during the summer with their other halves and/or kids (and/or pets)?
12:00 p.m. Faux Society. Amy Sohn (Prospect Park West), Robert Dunn (Meet the Annas) and Laura Albert (Sarah) talk about the real people and fictional characters who inhabit the societies represented in their work. Moderated by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez.
Couger is funny, albeit a bit lacking in the spelling department.

Denton,
I’m having a wee bit of trouble picturing Amy Sohn dealing with a gut reno of a sagging Greenwood Heights frame and getting her veggies at the CSA.
Oh, sorry. I’ll stop talking house on the OT.
