You must be kidding! If that’s your reasoning, I’m with Snappy! The Beatles owe their entire musical style to the AMERICAN blues musicians who were their inspiration!
Look, the Beatles were certainly a great popular music group on their own right. They had a big impact on American popular music. But RAP and HIP HOP performers – and American popular musicians of ALL genres – owe MUCH more to people like James Brown and Little Richard and certainly Louis Armstrong than they do to the Beatles. ALL of those people are far more influential in American popular music than the Beatles are. To say there wouldn’t be rap music without the Beatles is just incorrect. To say there would be no Beatles without Louis Armstrong, who created the improvisational language of American popular music, would be accurate.
I used to dress in a business suit when I’d go for an initial interview w/ a new client & then dress normally once I got the job. The editor at Town & Country saw me after the transition & said, “Ah, I see the creative dept. is here today!”
Snappy – You’re all wet & it’s not from swimming.
“The car I use passed inspection yesterday!!! It’s an 84 VW Vanagon.”
How much extra did you ‘tip’ the inspector?
“I need another fan”
Snappy, I’m always a fan.
Making popcorn and watching Snaps dig herself out of this hole!! LOL!
“Because The Beatles started it all.”

I prefer Breyer’s to Blue Marble – at least w/ regard to choc chip (not mint!)
Denton, not mothering, just being a friend and returning a favor for the indescribable way he stepped up for me when Papa Snappy died.
Snaps, Yes, but if they’re not in there, I’m not worried, they have other flavors, too! We have our work cut out for us!
